Partnership and communication with parents is vitally important, and verbal communication is backed up with written information via the individual baby's daily diary. These are maintained until the child reaches the age of one.
Staff work closely as room teams; constantly communicating and discussing individual children and their needs, to ensure continuity of care. All staff in the room will be able to discuss with you, how your child's day has progressed. Due to the arrangement of staff off duty rotas, you may not always see your key person every morning or evening, therefore it is important that all staff are able to discuss your child's needs and share their care.
We will always find time to discuss privately with you any points you wish to raise. An opportunity for a "child review" will be available every 6 months. Your child's key person will arrange a convenient time for you to attend the centre to discuss your child's achievements and progress.
