Staff Training

Bright Beginnings believe that good quality staff are the most important resource. Staff are valued and are encouraged and motivated. Individual opportunities are supported through the provision of appropriate and relevant training opportunities. The centre closes for 3 training days per year in March, June and November as it is very important to train as a whole staff team.

Staff Qualifications

Members of staff hold a range of childcare qualifications including, BA Hons, Early Years Professional Status Foundation Degree, EYPS, Nursery Nurse (NNEB), Btec and Level 2/3 NVQ qualifications in Childcare.

All staff are vetted to ensure they are a suitable person to be working with children. This includes having a medical check and a full CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check. All staff work as a team and in a professional manner. Staff are required to continually review their practice and the care they offer; attending various training courses, to ensure they remain up to date with the curriculum, care and legislation, whilst ensuring each individual child and its families needs are meet.
